Just wanted to invite everyone for dinner. My deep freezer decided to shut down on me again. Happens about once a year. We lose alot of food, unplug it a few days plug it back in and it works for another year. If I cook everything I can refreeze it (most was too thawed to refreeze). I'm so sad. But you are all invited. You name it, we got it. NO HAGGIS!

It does seem strange. Like taking a month after the new year to get used to Oh-3 instead of Oh-2. Maybe we can say 2-03.......2-10........2-22? Hike!

i emailed the township trustee and i told her of my situation and that he found out from my dad that i lost my job at wal-mart and i have been trying to buy time to find another job with no avail.

Maybe you could go take care of your sister for awhile for some food and shelter. Sounds like she could use the help. I don't know where you live but if there is a Vineyard Christian Church in your area they have food, and they may be able to help you in some way. They are a very works oriented church. Good Luck. Colder than a witches.....

normally, my girth protects me, but as i was having one of my weekend cigars, i noticed that i had to keep switching hands while i warmed the other.....gar!.

It's up to 20F here in Cincinnati. It has been in the single digits the past couple days. I'd much rather be cold and add clothes, then too hot and can't take anything else off! Looking at the weather map of the US most of the states are no higher then the 30's & 40's. Even Florida is cold. Just think warm thoughts. The part I hate is we just had snow and when it is so cold the snow squeeks when you walk on it. Like scratching a chaulk board. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Making it "through" to the other side...
by Dawn ini've been away for some time - lots of work and family stuff keeping me busy.
i was reading through a lot of the posts this evening catching up and there are so many new people here!
so to all of you who are just now searching for an answer, to those that are scared of leaving, or scared that you've been df'd, or scared of armageddon - i want to let you know what it's like on the other side - when you've finally made it through all the fear, the guilt, the sorrow, and have healed.. there is a feeling of freedom now that i can not explain to anyone still in - in fact, even people who were not once jw's don't understand because they don't know what it was like to be in "chains".
